Hello, my name is Nate. Sports, health, and fitness have been deeply interesting to me for as long as I can remember.

This lifetime interest in health and fitness led me to found Data Driven Athlete (a cycling coaching company), then later to pursue a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) credential.

More recently, my interests have expanded into strength training. Overwhelming scientific evidence suggests that strength training is a non-negotiable component of optimal health and vitality for both young and old.

Even if you accept strength training as an essential ingredient of health, what exactly do you do about it?

That’s my mission with Durable Fitness. To help you acquire the skills, habits, and knowledge to build a durable body capable of thriving in the performance sport of life.

Durable Fitness was founded to help you build a stronger, more resilient body through evidence-based training methods coupled with best-practice guidelines in sports nutrition.

Our focus is on foundational movements using classic implements like barbells and dumbbells, tailored to enhance strength, increase muscle mass, and improve body composition, all in preparation for the performance sport of life.
